- September 11th Update
The contractor has begun work on Oak street. They will continue to work in this area for the next week or so while also restoring various areas around the village. Here are some photos of their work.
- September 4th Update
Over the course of the week the contractor Mead Bros. has been working along Clark Street as well as grading and seeding various areas around the village. They anticipate starting work along Oak Street on Tuesday September 8th and will soon be mobilizing equipment in that area. Here are some photos of their work this week.
- August 29th Update
The contractor is finishing up their work along Walnut and Howard Streets. They will begin working on South Clark Street early next week following their completion of the work on Walnut and Howard. Here are some photos of their work on Walnut and Howard.
- August 21st Update
Rough grading on Maple St. continues. The contractor has installed the new drain culvert crossing Gramer Rd. They will soon be moving their work to Walnut St. between Elm and Howard. Check out some pictures of their work they have done this week.
- August 13 Update
While the contractor continues their work along Walnut and Franklin Streets, they are preparing to replace the road cross culvert on Gramer Road, south of the rail road tracks and north of Grieb Road. This work on the culvert is expected to begin on August 17th. Gramer road is expected to be closed from the 17th through the 19th, weather permitting. Please see the “Project Maps” page of the website for a map and exact location of the road closure and alternate route. The top course for Maple and Chestnut Streets is expected to be paved sometime after Labor Day.
- August 6th Update
The contractor finished paving the base course Franklin, West Chestnut, Maple, East Walnut, East Oak, South Howard and Monroe Streets on Wednesday August 5th. The top course will be paved in the future. They will continue their drain work at Walnut and Franklin St. Check out the photos below to see their work.
- July 31st Update
The contractor has been working diligently on the storm sewer project in various areas around the village. In continuation of the project they will be paving Franklin, West Chestnut, Maple, East Walnut, East Oak, South Howard and Monroe Streets starting on Tuesday, August 4th. Please see the location map for the areas being paved. Flag personnel and signage will advise on alternate routes to be taken during time of paving and when it will be safe to travel on.
